One of the most common questions I get is: “How often should I record content?”
The short answer? Every day—at first.
If you’re in the early stages of your content journey, you need to build momentum, develop skills, and create consistency.
Once you start seeing what works, you can then optimize your workflow to make content creation sustainable for the long term.
Step 1: Record & Post Every Day (The First 100 Posts)
When you’re just starting out, you have no momentum. No experience. No audience.
You need to rapidly improve your skills by:
✅ Recording daily
✅ Editing daily
✅ Posting daily
This builds:
- Your content muscles (shooting, editing, scripting, storytelling)
- Your confidence on camera
- Your understanding of what works & what doesn’t
The first 100 posts are not about perfection—they’re about practice and discovery.
Once you hit that 100-post mark, you’ll start to see what resonates with people and what kind of content gets the most engagement.
Step 2: Find a Sustainable Posting Schedule
After you’ve built momentum, step back and evaluate:
📌 How long does it take to shoot and edit each video?
📌 Can you realistically create content every single day without burning out?
📌 Can you batch record content to save time?
This is when you find a workflow that works for YOU.
If your content is quick & simple to create, you might still post daily.
If your content is more in-depth & requires planning, you might record once or twice a week and schedule your posts.
Bottom line: Content creation needs to be sustainable so you can stay consistent long-term.
Step 3: Work Smarter with Batch Recording
Once you’ve figured out your best-performing content, you can batch record instead of filming every single day.
For example, right now, I’m preparing for my Stairstep Challenge where I walk one stair step per follower—which means over 177,000 steps.
That’s physically and mentally exhausting.
💡 Solution? I’ll have one full production day where I:
🎥 Record the main challenge
🎥 Shoot 10+ mini-episodes
🎥 Create a few quick trending Reels
This way, I maximize one day of shooting and still have daily content to post.
Final Takeaway: Adapt & Find What Works for You
You won’t figure out your ideal content schedule on Day 1.
✅ Start by recording every day to build your skills
✅ Analyze what works & what doesn’t after 100 posts
✅ Find a sustainable system (whether that’s daily, weekly, or batch recording)
The key is to stay consistent without burning out.
Once you master sustainability, content creation becomes effortless. 🚀
