If you don’t know your numbers, you’re flying blind. A lot of people say, “I know I need to post more” or “I need to talk to more people,” but they have no clue how much effort it actually takes to hit their goals. That’s a problem.
When you don’t know the exact inputs required to get the outcome you want, you’re guessing. And guessing won’t get you to $100K per month.
Breaking Down the Goal
I set a goal: $100K per month from group training. That means I need 1,000 paying customers at $100/month each.
Simple. Now, how do I actually get there?
Let’s say I can convert 50% of the people I talk to into paying customers. That means I’d only need 2,000 conversations to hit my target. But let’s be real—that’s a high conversion rate. So instead, I assume a lower conversion rate:
- 20% conversion? → I need to talk to 5,000 people.
- 10% conversion? → I need to talk to 10,000 people.
Now it’s a numbers game. Instead of saying “I need more clients”, I know exactly how many interactions I need to create.
Daily Execution: What It Actually Takes
Let’s take the 5,000 conversations target and break it down.
- 5,000 conversations ÷ 30 days = ~166 interactions per day
- Round up → 200 interactions per day
That means every day, I need to start 200 conversations, engage with 200 people, and invite them into my world. Sounds like a lot, right? But here’s where content changes the game.
Scaling With Content
Instead of manually talking to 200 people per day, I use content to do the heavy lifting.
Think of content as your sales team—you put it out once, and it keeps working for you.
I looked at my own numbers:
- YouTube gives me 1% conversion into actual conversations.
- Instagram & Facebook DMs convert at 10-15%.
- Posting in Facebook Groups gets me a 15% engagement-to-DM rate.
So if I post 3x a day across 20 groups for 30 days, that’s 5,000+ people engaging with my content. That means more DMs, more interactions, and more conversions.
The Key Takeaway
When you break your goal down into real numbers, suddenly, it’s not overwhelming—it’s just math.
- Set a clear revenue goal.
- Figure out how many customers you need.
- Calculate how many interactions it takes to close those customers.
- Create a daily action plan that gets you those interactions.
- Use content to scale those interactions beyond what you can do manually.
