Overview:

In 2023, our Exotic Car Rental business in Miami sought to boost brand awareness without relying on traditional advertising methods. We turned to viral social media trends as a cost-effective strategy to garner exposure.

Identifying the buzz around the “Ghostwriter” controversy and Drake’s viral hit song “Heart on My Sleeve,” we seized the opportunity to create a memorable marketing stunt. Our office admin, Pablo, transformed into the iconic “Ghostwriter” and cruised Miami streets in a Ferrari 458 Spider, capturing attention and prompting bystanders to share the spectacle on social media platforms like Instagram.

Simultaneously, Florida was experiencing a gas shortage, with cars stranded in the middle of the street and long lines at the pump. We recognized an opportunity to leverage this trend and gain EVEN MORE exposure for our business. The posts received thousands of views, with one even being featured on a local influencer page called @onlyindade.

The result was a surge in free exposure views and organic inquiries for our business. Overnight, our posts garnered significant engagement, leading to over 100 inquiries and catching the attention of celebrity rappers. This creative approach positioned us as the top choice for Exotic Car Rentals among rappers and celebrities, driving a surge of revenue our first week in business!

This case study demonstrates the power of leveraging social media trends for brand exposure.
